Get money. Get a man. Get a degree. Get a job. Get some lovin’. Get your life!
But in all of that getting, we better make sure we’re getting some understanding. Above all that we strive to get in this life, wisdom should be supreme among them. At least that’s what Proverbs 4:7 is telling us.
Just speaking for myself and no one else, I was floundering without Godly wisdom. I tried making decisions with my own mind as a young college girl, but that led to a world of trouble.
I was a ship tossed to and fro, seasick from the motion of the ocean, and sinking fast. But, when I cried out to Jesus, He said, “Peace! Be still!”
Each time the winds start kicking up in my life, I turn to the Source of unsurpassed peace and wisdom beyond measure. And, He calms the confusion every single time.
You see, confusion doesn’t come from God. Period. If you have confusion swirling around you, please recognize that it’s a sign that you’re running on empty, and it’s time to fill up on the kind of wisdom that’s written in the Book of Proverbs.
It’s there for the taking, served up on a silver platter. It is life to those that find it, and health to all their flesh.
